Delhi-Style Chana Masala | Authentic Indian Chickpea Curry

Recipe:

Ingredients: Soaking and boiling chana – Soak 250 grams of chana (chickpeas) overnight. Boil the soaked chana in a pressure cooker with 4-5 whistles until they become soft. Drain the water from the boiled chana.

Step 1: Heat 6 tablespoons of oil in a shallow pan.

Step 2: Add 6 medium-sized chopped onions to the pan and sauté until the onions turn golden brown.

Step 3: Add 4 tablespoons of Ancient Aromas Kala Masala and stir for 2-3 minutes until well mixed.

Step 4: Add the boiled chana (without water) to the masala mixture. Stir and cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the chana to absorb the flavors.

Step 5: Squeeze lemon juice over the chana as per your taste and mix well.

Step 6: Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with roti, rice, or bhature.
