Paneer Do Pyaza Recipe | Spicy & Tangy Indian Cottage Cheese

Ingredients: For this recipe, you will need 750 grams of paneer, which should be fried and soaked in salted lukewarm water. Gather 6 tablespoons of oil and 2 tablespoons of ghee, along with 5-6 sliced onions and 4 medium chopped tomatoes. You will also need ½ cup of curd, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, and 2 bay leaves. Additionally, include 3 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 3 tablespoons of Ancient Aromas Kala Masala, and 1 teaspoon of kasuri methi. For garnishing, have fresh coriander on hand. For the tempering, prepare 1 tablespoon of ghee, 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon of crushed coriander seeds, 2 slit green chillies, 1-2 Kashmiri red chillies, and ½ cup of onion petals.

Step 1: Fry paneer until golden brown, then soak in salted lukewarm water for 10 minutes.

Step 2: Heat 6 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp ghee in a pan. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and 2 bay leaves. Sauté.

Step 3: Add 5-6 sliced onions and cook until golden. Then add 3 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and 1 tsp turmeric powder. Cook briefly.

Step 4: Add 4 chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook until soft. Mix ½ cup curd with 3 tbsp Ancient Aromas Kala Masala, then add to the pan and stir.

Step 5: Add the soaked paneer and 1 tsp kasuri methi. Cook for 2 minutes.

Step 6: For tempering, heat 1 tbsp ghee. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp crushed coriander seeds, 2 slit green chillies, 1-2 Kashmiri red chillies, and ½ cup onion petals. Sauté.

Step 7: Pour the tempering over the paneer.

Step 8: Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
